I take my pen
in hand. No matter what the day
I take my pen,
those inner urges
come again
to organise my thoughts to say,
"Whenever I feel need to play
I take my pen!"
Over at IGWRT's, Marion nudged us to jump to it and compose a rondelet. How could I resist? Even though I already posted my # 16 NaPoRiMo!

ReplyDeleteI think many of us can relate to this.

ReplyDeleteSome days are more difficult than others-that naughty pen!
ReplyDeleteAh! Very clever!
ReplyDeleteWe do enjoy playing with those pens, don't we? Or laptops, or whatever. Nice one!
ReplyDeleteloved the play of thoughts....!
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent refrain.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Jinksy. Last night I was sneaking around in the dark looking for a pen, trying not to make any noise, or move quickly, because there were three deer in our yard, picking up last year's fruit under our ornamental crabapple tree. I didn't dare turn on the computer, but I had a rhyme in my head, and you know how that goes!
ReplyDeletePerfect poem for a poet.
